ОТКРЫТЫЙ УРОК «FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN OUR LIFE»
Цели урока:
Познавательный аспект — систематизация знаний учащихся о причинах распространенности иностранных языков в XXI веке;
Развивающий аспект – развитие воображения, фантазии, творческого мышления, самостоятельности, умения пользоваться Интернетом;
Воспитательный аспект – развитие личностной активности учащихся, воспитание положительного и толерантного отношения к культуре, языку, профессиональная ориентация учащихся (профессии, связанные с иностранным языком), повышение мотивации изучения иностранных языков;
Учебный аспект – практика учащихся во всех видах речевой деятельности по теме.
Форма урока: | урок решения практических задач. Фронтальная, индивидуальная, парная и групповая формы работы. |

Ход урока
1. Организационный момент
— приветствие группы
T: Good morning, students!
S: Good morning, teacher!

Ok. Look at the blackboard. Here you can see the epigraph “Those who know nothing of foreign languages, know nothing of their own”. (J. Goethe)
What does this epigraph mean? (every educated person should know foreign languages, because foreign languages are very popular and necessary today )
2. Постановка цели урока
During our last lessons we have been speaking about languages. You had different opinions. Today we continue our discussion and revise some grammar rules.
3. Актуализация знаний
1)Answer the questions, expressing your opinions:
- What’s the population of the world? (About 6 billion).
- How many people speakEnglish? (650 million people).
- How long have you been learning English? (For10 years).
- Why has the Englishlanguage become the international language? (People of 54 countries ofthe world speak English it is about 30%)
- Why is it difficult to read English words? (It was influenced bymany languages: Latin, Greek French, and German. Etc).
- Do you like to learnEnglish?
- Have you been abroad?
2) Why are you learning English? Let’s read the text and discuss it, if you agree or not.
- – It is necessary to learn foreign languages. That’s why pupils have got such a subject as a foreign language at school.
- — Everybody knows his own language but it is useful to know foreign languages too.
- – I learn English because I understand that I can use it. For example, if I go to England I’ll be able to speak English there. If I go to the USA, I’ll speak English too. English is used not only in England but also in other parts of the world.
- – I learn English because I want to read foreign literature in the original. I know and like such English and American writers as Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Lewis Carroll and others. I understand that I must learn English. If I know English well, I’ll be able to go to the library and take books by English and American writers in the original.
- – I like to travel but it is difficult to visit countries, when you don’t know the language spoken there. If I know the language of the country I am going to, it will be easy to travel there. If I want to ask something, I can do it in English.
- – I like to read books and I like to read newspapers too. If I know, for example, English, I’ll be able to read English newspapers and magazines.
- – You can see a lot of advertisements, signboards and names in the street. They are in foreign languages. Very often they are in English. If you know English well, you can read and understand them.
- – Now we buy many clothes from other countries. If you know English well, you can read something about the size of this or that thing. It is clear to you what it is made of.
- – There are a lot of films in foreign languages. If you know them, you can understand films without any help.
- – There are international friendship camps in the world. If you can speak foreign languages, it will be easy for you to visit such camps and speak with boys and girls who do not know Russian or Tatar.
- – In short, I understand that I have to learn English properly and I try to do so.
2) During our lessons we have been learning grammarthemes. One of them was the verbs in Present Simple and Present Continuous. Now I suggest you to check your knowledge according to the test.

4. Самостоятельное, творческое использование сформированных умений и навыков в диалогической речи
– Would you like to act some dialogues? Your task is to try to do everything to resolve conflicts in discussing the problems of learning foreign languages, using the vocabulary of the lesson and al possible expressions.
5. Обобщение усвоенного материала
– I’m very happy you have succeeded in acting the dialogues. Thank you. To sum up, let’s think if we should know languages.
The great German poet Goethe once said, «He, who knows no foreign language, doesn’t know his own one ». That’s why in order to understand oneself and environment you should learn foreign languages.
I think, that to know English today is absolutely necessary for every educated man, for every good specialist.
6. Рефлексия деятельности
– Tell me, please. What haveyou learnt today? Do you like the lesson? Have you worked hard/ with pleasureor were you lazy/inactive? (Обучающиеся заполняют рефлексивную таблицу и учитель подводит итог урока)
Результат учебной деятельности школьников проявляется в устных высказываниях и письменных работах обучающихся.
Рассмотренный урок соответствует требованиям ФГОС, так как:
- отражена целенаправленность, целостность и динамика образовательного процесса;
- включены все виды речевой деятельности;
- выполняются познавательная, развивающая, учебная и воспитательная цели;
- преобладают методы проблемного обучения, ориентированные на активизацию самостоятельности детей;
- содержатся основные этапы современного урока;
- согласно обще дидактическому принципу, имеется связь с жизнью;
- обеспечиваются условия сотрудничества;
- используются различные способы оценки и самооценки, рефлексии процесса и результата выполнения заданий.
В результате обучающиеся
- знают лексический и грамматический материал по теме и используют его в решении коммуникативной задачи с различной степенью сложности;
- умеют вести диалог с партнером и преодолевать трудности для достижения намеченной цели;
- владеют навыками самоанализа и самооценки своей деятельности.
